Otaku Dome's Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst Review:

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Full Burst is a 2013 fighting game it is developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai Games. It is available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
THE GOOD: Ive been a big fan of the Ultimate Ninja franchise since the original games release on the PlayStation 2, CyberConnect did nothing but amaze Naruto fans every as they transition the franchise to the Playstation 3 now know as Ultimate Ninja Storm. GIZORAMA - A few months ago, gentle internet ponderer Kyle Boseman said he doesnt have the soul for fighting games. Finally, someone understood. Through roughly 20 years of Street Fighters, Mortal Kombats, Guilty Gears, Dark Stalkers, and Marvel vs. Capcoms, a fighting game never grabbed me. They were classics, genuinely crafted experiences, that were impossible to get my head around for whatever reason.
Save for the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series. These 2-and-a-half-D fighters were, exciting, challenging, and also a blast to watch. The gameplay was accessible, emphasizing blocks, ki-blasts, countering, and momentum. For the first time, a fighter that didnt have WWE in the title, made sense to me.

"The original instalment of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 was released for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 earlier in the year. It brought a new story, more characters and the series well-known gorgeous battle system that captures the essence of the anime so well. Whats special about this Full Burst release of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is the fact that this is the first time the series has ever touched the PC platform. If you already own Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 on console, then you can buy Full Burst as an digital expansion that builds on top of the existing game. Since this is a look at the PC version, were treating the review as a whole new game release for the platform."

"Full Burst, the enhanced version of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, carries on in the same vein as the other Ninja Storm entries, so if players know that system, they're ready for the action sequences and quick-time events that Full Burst will present. Those who haven't played any of the UNS entries, however, may find gameplay more difficult than others."

Time to prove your super fandom.
Here's my issue with the Doctor Who fanbase: I have many Whovians as friends, and they all want me to watch the BBC sci-fi program, but should I ask a beginner question or posit a theory they find invalid, they admonish me for not having watched all 208 seasons prior. On the flipside, I'm always told that since the Doctor regenerates, I don't need to have watched everything in order to jump in. So I get confused easily. Then again, I get confused by shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but for entirely different reasons.

Drew Leachman writes: I have seen maybe three episodes of Naruto. I know it is a huge series both in Japan and in the West, much like how Dragon Ball Z took us all by storm in the late 90s. Just because I havent watched the show or read the manga though, doesnt mean I havent put many hours into multiple Naruto games. I have played every Ultimate Ninja Storm that has released so far, and now Im playing an updated version of the third iteration. Lets see exactly what is in store for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst.

There's an interesting story here and it does a great job of creating a spectacle to watch during the battles, so if you are a huge Naruto fan but somehow managed to miss out on Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, then this is certainly worth a purchase.

GameDynamo - "Although the Ultimate Ninja Storm series adventure mode has been streamlined over the past few games, epic cinematic boss battles do make a return in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst."
